Big 4-0
This bike was a 40th birthday present that Brent Bauer of Mandan, North Dakota purchased for himself and created in 1999. The project centered around the 40th Anniversary S&S 110" motor (It is #250 of only 400 produced and the motor values at over $10K). The transmission is a Baker Six Speed and is mated to a Hydraulic PM Master Cylinder.
The frame is a Rowe Softail and the custom sheetmetal, dash, tank and fenders were all modified by Klock Werks crew. Headwinds Billet Headlight does the job out front. Brent's friend and fellow motor head, Doug Bruggeman of Sioux Falls painted a special House of Kolor Ruby Red synonomous with the color for 40th Anniversary and thus leading to the Big 4-0 name.
It has classic wire wheels and Metzeler tires with a180/18 Rear and 19 front. The Danny Gray seat is a custom piece that has 4 X's stitched in rear to fit the 40th theme. The rear fender features a frenched LED tailight and plate. The front Forks are inverted Ceriani. All the components on this bike are top of the line.
