This Bike is built on a Marcus Walz Hardcore frame imported from Germany. The motor is a 113" S&S fully polished and assembled by Camel builder and fellow Hamster, Kendall Johnson. This combination is capable of 129 HP and 130 Foot lbs. of Torque at the Rear Wheel! It is backed by a Baker Six Speed and hooked to a Hi-Tech 4" Open primary with outboard bearing supports.
The 250/18 Avon Rear Tire runs on a Xtreme Machine "Chopper" Chrome Wheel and likewise with the 19" Front. The Exhaust is a one-off piece dreamt up by Klock Werks crew. This bike has a custom Legend Air-Ride Supsension system with on board compressor and hidden switches. It has Performance Machine Brakes as most of our customs do and uses Battastini/Ness Grips and Pegs. Brad Smith did the Kobalt Blue HOK paint and graphics.
This bike was featured in a story by Paul Garson for VTwin Magazine January 2003 issue. The photos were taken by the great Michael Lichter and would rank as one of my (Brian's) greatest days in Motorcycling. It has long been one of my dreams that was granted by Dave Nichols, Easyriders editor, when he gave us the nod to take the trip to Boulder, CO for the photos. A great day with a great talent, Michael and Steve treated us well. Check another one off the to do list!
