Innovative parts that Dan selected for his personal ride include a one of a kind Moon gas tank, "Rat Fink" style shifter with integrated clutch lever, open chain primary, single downtube frame with hooks, tooled leather seat, V-Rod modified mid controls, and Schwinn style handlebars with ATV throttle control.

This bike placed in the top ten at the AMD World Pro Show and was featured in the Las Vegas Bikefest Artistry in Iron competition for 2004. It was the cover bike for Iron Works magazine in March 2004 and was featured in Easyriders in the fall of 2004 also. Its appeared in many overseas magazines including Freeway and is known the world over as the original bike to utilize the Moon style gas tank.
