62ish Fatboy
This 2001 FatBoy is owned by Barry and Julie Arenson from Overland Park, Kansas. The classic and subtle lines of this bike are adored by many as was evident by the recent Best of Show honors bestowed on it at Awesome Harley Nights 2002 in Sioux City, Iowa. This bike has won numerous other Best of Paint and Best Custom awards including honors at the 2001 Open House of the Harley Davidson V-Rod/Sportster plant in Kansas City.
The motor is a 95 cubic inch Hi-Compression HeadQuarters kit. It breathes thru a Mikuni Carb and exits via Bub, Jug Hugger pipes. The suspension is Legend Air-Ride with a custom hidden switch. It also features a chrome swingarm with custom rear signal lights. The wheels are Fat Daddy Stainless 50 spokes hooked to 18" Metzelers.
The real looks come due to the kustom sheetmetal work by the Klock Werks team. The stock rear fender was major modified to accept the low profile tombstone LED light and was stretched 6 inches. The front fender is also kustom modified and sits super low. The 1962 emblem coupled with the Dupont paint applied by Klock Werks own James Mayer is the frosting on this cake. Other features include a custom set of Klock Werks watercut rear struts, nacelle, chrome forks, and a Corbin seat. Did I mention the chrome and care this bike has! They definitely put the miles on this one and it always shows up looking like a million! Klassic Kool!
