Cherry Bomb Bobber
-
The Original "Cherry Bomb" Harley Davidson 'Bobber' is based on a 2001 Softail Chassis and was built specifically to be displayed as a tribute to modern day bobbers for Michael Lichter's "Bob's Back" tribute held at the Sturgis Rally in 2004 at the Journey Museum. We proudly diplayed our bike with the likes of Hank Young, Billy Lane, Chica, Jose, David Edwards (Cycle World Editor) and Orange County Choppers.
This bike has been copied all over the world now and is one of my all time favorites to ride and talk about. Its smooth, has all the character of any great bike, and is a blast to ride. After a short jaunt everyone who has had the experience wants to add it to their collection! The Smile factor is large on this bike!
Its features a fully polished 95" Twin Cam that was built in house by Quigley Motor Werks and of course the infamous pipe with the Cherry Bomb Muffler. The handlebars feature a twist clutch and internal throttle with custom risers and powdercoating. The Works performance shocks teamed with the tractor saddle make for the most comfortable ride - its no wonder those old boys could work in the field all day with those spring seats.
It has been featured on various TV clips including a history piece on Automotion with Bill Goldberg. This bike has been in Ol Skool Rodz magazine, a couple of features overseas including Freeway magazine and in the November 2005 issue of Easyriders. Drag Specialties has featured it in some battery ads nationally as well as using it for their dealer show promotions in 2005.
