This 1998 1200 Sportster began life as the unsuspecting motorcycle shown in the before photos. Todd Porter comissioned us to build the bike to fit his wife, Monica of Sioux Falls, South Dakota prior to Sturgis of 1999. The bike was stripped to the stock frame and raked, smoothed and molded prior to being painted the PPG Lexus champagne color. The entire bike is loaded with diamond details such as the struts, downtubes, mirrors, and tailight. Danny Gray stictched the one of a kind diamond solo for the bike just days before launch.
The rear air shocks are a BT Billet piece and the bike is lowered in front also. Stock trees were smoothed and polished before assembly and are controlled by a set of Ness Flattrack bars hooked to a Dakota Digital speedo/riser combination. The grips and pegs are from Paul Yaffe Originals and the wheels are Carriage Works. The front and rear fenders are both West Coast Choppers items modified by Klock Werks.
This is a very detailed and elegant example of a Sportster and it appropriately named for the gem is represents.
