Flashback Sportster Chopper
This is a tribute to the 70's style paint and the choppers of guys like Dave Perewitz. It utilizes the modern technology of a new 1200 Sportster motor coupled with a rubbermounted chopper frame exclusive to Klock Werks. The pipes were fabricated by Dan and Chris in our shop then sent to chrome. Other custom made one off's include the motor mount and wire holder, the oil tank, gas tank, handlebars and "chick stick". The molding and base paint work were tackled by our own, James Mayer. Take note of the key tucked on the right side and the micro switch starter button.
This bike is owned by Brandon and Dave Scholten of Corsica, South Dakota. This father/son team dreamt up the ultimate sporster chopper and cut our creativity loose. The bike has a 180/18 rear tire mounted on PM 12 Spoke chrome wheels and a 21" front. It has a 10 over front fork configuration with Deuce Legs and a Dakota Billet flush mount axle. Danny Gray once again pulled out the finishing touch with the retro styled stiching on the seats. The bike breathes with the help of a Wimmer Machine intake. This bike was displayed at the Dealer Expo held by Easyriders in Cincinati as part of the Builder's Showcase.
